My Favorite Finds From The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishing Market 2012

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Atlanta Gift and Furnishing Market.  I just love Market!  I love the new furniture and the endless inspiration.  I especially love seeing what trends are new and what things, like orange, are here to stay.

Oh, where to start?  How about with the new kid on the block,  Emporium Home out of Little Rock, Arkansas.  These guys won "Best of Show" and if you take a look at their wares,
you'll understand why.

Just look at the Eclipse Agate Chandelier.  Isn't it fabulous?  This is what grabbed my attention and  lured me into the space.  Love Love Love!

A close tie for all my love and affection is the Wellington mirror.
I mean, have you seen anything more stunning?

There were so many things at this booth that were drop dead gorgeous.  There's no way I could cover them all here.  You'll have to check out their website  to get the full scope of the line.
I'd love to know what melts your heart.
By the way, this company is one to watch, so bookmark their site and visit often.

My second favorite thing about this market was the amount of items I found for my male clients. Normally, I have to piece together ideas for them, but not this year.
There were cool color combinations everywhere.  Here are two of my favorites.

I love the subtle use of the blue with white in the first image as well as the boldness of the
orange and blue in the one below.
*Items in these two images are available only through your designer and Design Legacy.
Swedish Rococo Armoire/ Amy Howard
I called in a Jet Magazine interview earlier this year, and Market has confirmed it, Armoires are back. I don't know why this makes me so happy, but it does.  I never really used them for TVs, but have always loved them for linen and clothes storage.  Love this trend for sure!

Adison Chair/ Amy Howard
My final love is this Adison Chair form the Amy Howard collection.  Both the chair and the furnishings in the opening image show that Southern girl, Amy Howard, has her finger on the pulse of what's hot.  I'm inspired by her use of bold and of-the-moment colors in her collection.
