Michel Boyd's Roman Holiday for the Next Cool Event 2012

I can only image that my (and now the world's) infatuation with Michel Boyd is what the sports world feels when a Kobe Bryant or Lebron James comes along onto the scene.  I really want to stop talking about Michel, but I simply cannot.  He delivers beautifully every time he shows up to design a space.  You first heard his name here, but soon it will be on the tongues of editors and design enthusiasts the world over.  His space for the Next Cool Event based on the movie "A Roman Holiday" was by far the crowd favorite. At last count it, had been photographed over 2,000 times and even served as the spot for an impromptu marriage proposal.  Incredible, right?  Michel, who is known for quietly designing stunning spaces for his well-heeled clients,  has recently ventured out into the world to showcase his amazing talents.

What we love so much about Michel is that he creates beautiful rooms. Carefully thought out, expertly executed, beautiful rooms.  I know that I am not his biggest fan.  There was a continuous party going on in his space as attendees pulled their friends over to experience the space and to meet the normally shy Michel Boyd.

I wanted to give Michel the opportunity to post about his space first, but the response via Twitter and Facebook was overwhelming.  You wanted to see more than the snippets that I posted over the weekend.  So please go over to his fan page to see more images of the space, as well as a detailed account of the items in it.

Up next for Michel Boyd is the "High Rise Home Tour" sponsored by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle Magazine at the W Downtown Atlanta.  He is one of a few select designers to design penthouse residences with proceeds benefiting the High Museum of Art.

You will see hundreds of images on Facebook this week from the Next Cool Event like the ones below.  Michel Boyd's space served as the perfect backdrop for event goers to see and be seen.  Look around the Internet - they have the images to prove it!
